The Engagement Manager’s role is one of the most varied and critical one in the consulting space. The Engagement Manager’s role requires the incumbent to have an eye for detail as well as the ability to visualize the larger picture. This role largely involves providing thought leadership, conceptualizing frameworks, generating ideas and guiding project teams on research and analysis. Engagement Managers also play a key role in directing client engagements and business development. All Engagement Managers are required to play a significant managerial role within TSMG as they are responsible for people development and adherence to organization processes, company values and cultural norms. The overall design of the role is not restricted to consulting, and provides Engagement Managers the opportunity to develop general management skills.
